Stand up for Clean Water
Dayna has been a committee member of H2OToronto for the last two years. She, along with 7 other powerful women, strives to raise funds to provide clean water to villages in Madagascar. Founded 8 years ago, as a partner with WaterAid Canada, H2OToronto continues to grow. This year their goal is to raise $40,000 to impact the village of Amberonema, Madagascar.
As we all already know, there is a worldwide water crisis. Nearly 1 Billion people do not have access to this basic human need. Amazing people like Dayna and others are working towards making sure that every person has access to clean and safe water. 844 million people worldwide live without access to clean, drinkable water. Without safe water and sanitation, people are trapped in a cycle of poverty and disease. The village of Amberomena has the population of just 80 people. By donating, you will be apart of providing a whole village and more with clean water sources.
At UDA, we believe it is very important to give back, and we believe together we can make a great contribution to this important cause. Our support ensures the people of that village can use their time to dedicate to family and education, instead of walking hours to get access to clean water.
Let’s stand up with Dayna and support what this committee is so passionate about, helping to bring clean water to those who need it most.
